Description

How. was engaged to collaborate with McIldowie Partners Architects and Methodist Ladies’ College, Melbourne early in the project, workshopping new ideas and utilising valuable information from key user groups such as students and teaching staff to deliver furniture solutions that support the school's vision of projecting students into the best learning environment possible.

This project features a variety of agile furniture, such as the Nolita chairs, which have low backrest support and a powder-coated steel tube frame, making them ideal for outdoor collaborative spaces.

Goals

○ Collaborate closely with the designer, using information from students to deliver and create furniture solutions that meet the client's specific requirements.

○ Provide furniture options that are both attractive and long-lasting for future generations of students.

Achievements

● Bespoke furniture solutions were provided, taking into account pupils' heights and learning styles. Booths and couches were created at a lower height to better accommodate the needs of students.

● For optimal comfort and endurance, strong and durable furniture solutions were combined with appropriate upholstery.
